Ama Dablam Expedition
Ama Dablam is a small snowcapped peak lying in the Everest region. The normal route to climb Ama Dablam is from its South- West ridge. This South – West ridge is the normal and most popular route in order to ascend the Mt. Ama Dablam.
In addition, an expedition to Ama Dablam is more than just a climb. It’s a journey into the heart of the Himalayas which is Located in the Khumbu valley of Nepal, only 12 km from the summit of Mount Everest. From the summit you are surrounded by a vista of peaks like no other, five of the highest six peaks in the world are clearly visible.
Day to day trip itinerary
Day 01.
Arrive at Kathmandu airport (1345meters). You will be met by our representative and transfer to hotel.
Day 02.
Prepared Expedition & Briefing in Ministry of Tourism. Arrival KTM Transfer Hotel, short walks in Thamel
Day 03.
Flight to Lukla, trekking to Phakding Lodge
Day 04.
Trekking to Namche Bazar
Day 05.
Namche Bazar acclimatisation day - walk Khumjung – Kunde – Everest View Hotel
Day 06.
Trekking to Tengpoche, 3870 m, visit monastery
Day 07.
Climb small “peak” (4100 m) above Tengpoche for acclimatisation; afternoon trekking to Pangpoche, 3950 m Lodge
Day 08.
Trekking to Pheriche, 4400 m Lodge
Day 09.
Trekking to Lobuche, 4950 m Lodge
Day 10.
Climb Kala Pattar, visit Everest BC, back to Lobuche
Day 11.
Trekking to Dingpoche, 4350 m
Day 12.
Trekking to Pangpoche or to starting point for Ama Dablam-BC
Day 13.
Day 13 to 26: Climbing Ama Dablam - 6812m.
Day 27.
Trekking BC Ama Dablam – Namche Bazar
Day 28.
Trekking to Lukla Lodge
Day 29.
Flight back to KTM
Day 30.
Leisure day in Kathmandu
Day 31.
Transfer to international airport for your final flight departure.
