Chitwan Jungle Safari TourChitwan National Park is one of the best Parks in Nepal, established in 1973, where you can have a look of various species of birds, plants and animals including wildlife, flora and fauna. Chitwan is situated only 150m above the sea level, during the March-June the steamy covers all the way around. Whereas the short grass of Feb-May the best game-viewing season, but the autumn months are gorgeous with Himalayan views and in winter (December-January).

Nepal is best known with the beautiful mountains, but there are the Genetic flat lands of Terai that is stretched throughout the southern part of Nepal, which provide an entirely different experience. A visit to Nepal is incomplete without seeing the beauty of this Terai belt and no doubt Chitwan is the best place to do so.

How to get there?

By rafting:

We can depart from Kathmandu at 7.00 A.M. by car/coach to Mugling (Confluence of Marshynagdi and Trisuli River) from where exciting rafting begins and floats down to a picnic spot for lunch along the river side and continues to destination, where our vehicle will be waiting to transfer you to Chitwan national park.

Or, we simply can departure from Kathmandu at 7.00 A.M by car/ coach for Chitwan National park on the Mugling-Narayanghat highway 175 km to the park.

By Air:

The air service is available from Kathmandu to Bharatpur everyday. It takes only about 20 min.

Activities

Elephant Safari:

You can travel through open grassland and dense forest on elephant back in search of rare games; you can spot one horned rhino, various species of deer, wild boar, sloth bear, leopard, bison and the big one, the Royal Bengal tiger etc.

Canoe Rides:

A traditional dugout takes you on a silent trip down the Rapti River to view birds, crocodile and the animals of the river, especially from October through to mid March.

Nature Walking in the Jungle:

Well-trained naturalists/ecologists take you to prime spots to view deer, rhino, sloth bears and other wildlife and no doubt the detailed explanation from the experienced guide on wildlife and jungle will help to widen the knowledge and enjoy your trip.

Bird Watching:

You can view the birds while you for an early morning walk through the bush and along the Rapti River where over 450 species of exotic birds including Giant, Hombill, Lesser florican and Paradise Flycastcher exist, no doubt you will be accompanied by our experienced naturalist.

Jungle Drive:

The visitor generally stay with more than 3 nights in Chitwan, if you also do so, you can go into the jungle and park to view birds and animals by driving a jeep, the jungle drive in the jeep 20km per hour through the jungle from Rapti River to the Lama Lake.

Tharu Stick Dance:

You can have a look a melodious tribal dance performed by Tharu men with the rhythms of drums and with clashing of stick that embodies and projects how to drive away Rhino and other wild animals from human habitat, especially after dinner at the hotel /lodge/tented camp, you can watch Tharu stick dance.

Chitwan National Have 2 type of Tour packageas, One is Outside the National park and another one is the Inside the National park, Outside the National Park means The Hotel/Lodges ( in which you stay) are outside of the Park ( Sauraha) however All the Jungle activities mentioned in package itinerary are done inside the Park and inside the National park means the Hotel/Lodge ( in which you stay) are inside the National Park and Of course, All the Jungle Activities mentioned in package itinerary are also in inside the Park. The Inside Hotel/Lodge Accommodation is comparatively more expensive then outside accommodation:
